In 2007, the conference was organized with an international partner for the first time. Since then, 16 partner countries have contributed significantly to the success of the events. Experiences and projects from the host countries have been presented and collaborations between companies and institutions have been initiated and developed.
For this year's 20th anniversary of the conference, we have invited the EU as a partner. The focus will be on the Baltic Sea region. The aim is to highlight the importance of the health economy sector in the Baltic Sea region. In the past decades, almost all Baltic Sea countries have been partner countries of the conference. The relationships and contacts that have been established are to be taken up and strengthened under the umbrella of the EU.
The EU's key topics include issues such as the “European Health Data Space”, “Prevention of widespread diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases or degenerative diseases” and “Artificial Intelligence”. There will be an in-depth exchange on these topics at the conference.
