BioCon Valley® GmbH organizes more than 65 specialist and themed events per year, starting from small events aimed at a subject-specific audience like our “marketplace for health“ to workshops, parliamentary evenings and international business delegations as well as the participation in two leading international fairs. Additionally we organize the National Conference on Health Economy attended by about 700 participants. The “Ideas for Health Contest“ is realized by us, too. Also coordinated by us is the „Board of Trustees for Health Economy“, an advisory committee of the Prime Minister, with over 70 members. Through these activities we are able to reach about 3,000 national and international players in the healthcare industry each year.

With approximately 150,000 jobs and € 5.5 billion of gross value added the healthcare industry is being a growth engine and warrantor of employment. Every fifth person works in this sector and every seventh Euro of gross value is made here.
