Summary
This years conference was all about digital change, which currently dominates many areas of life. The digital transformation is also of great importance in the health economy. It is therefore all the more important to create the legal framework and the necessary infrastructure and forthermore to exchange experiences, push new projects and discuss innovative ideas.
His Excellency Pietro Benassi, Ambassador of the Republic of Italy, made it clear in his greeting that the healthcare industry is clearly in the focus of the Italian government. The reasons for this are the effects of demographic development, which are similar in Italy to those in Germany, and the growth potential that digitalisation brings with it. The partner country was present with additional speakers and in the exhibition.
